Queen Gorgo of Sparta, was known for her quick wit and tenacity, and a celebrated political figure of Ancient Greece. Her husband was King Leonidas, leader of the 300 at the battle of Thermopylae.

Each necklace is individually hand-made. The thread is treated with locally sourced beeswax that seals the knots and protects the thread.

This necklace is closed with a gold plated 925 Sterling Silver lobster clasp. These necklaces are extremely strong and made for longevity. Necklace measures 46.5cm from clasp to clasp.
